Andy Betterton is a management accountant.  He served on the Florence City Board of Education from 2002 - 2008. 

Andy serves as Chairman of the Park & Recreation Committee.  His other committee assignments are the Public Works Committee, Planning/Building Committee and serves as the Ex-Officio Council Member on the Planning Commission.

Andy and his wife, Sandra (a retired Florence teacher), have 3 children, Alison, Jack and Jane, and 4 grandsons.  They are active members of First United Methodist Church of Florence.
