City of Florence, Alabama - Florence Fire Rescue - Upcoming Events

Apparatus Operator – Pumper Certification School thru the Alabama Fire College being taught at Florence Fire Training Academy on March 16^th – 20^th.  This will be a Pro Board Certification course. 

Apparatus Operator – Aerial Certification School thru the Alabama Fire College being taught at the Florence Fire Training Academy on March 23^rd – 27^th.  This will be a Pro Board Certification course. 

Rescue Technician – Rope Certification School thru the Alabama Fire College being taught at the Florence Fire Training Academy on April 13^th – 17^th.  This will be a Pro Board Certification course.

Heavy Rescue Team deployment exercise in Tuscaloosa, Al. on May 26^th – 29^th.  This exercise is to show preparedness and ability of Florence Fire’s Regional Heavy Rescue team.  This team functions in the event of Natural Disasters and/or Terrorist events that take place within the state of Alabama or surrounding states. 

Fire Fighter Recruit School beginning on April 20^th thru early August.
