The Florence
Fire Department will be flushing fire hydrants
to determine proper operation and flow. This
process can cause temporary discoloration of
water.
If you would

Florence Fire Rescue
proudly provides the finest fire protection,
rescue, hazardous materials control, and emergency
medical response to the citizens of Florence,
Alabama.
Florence is
located on the Tennessee River in Lauderdale
County. Florence Fire operates out of five fire
houses located throughout the city.
Our coverage
area covers the city limits of Florence providing
emergency services to approximately 40 thousand
people.
We average between three thousand to
thirty-five hundred calls per year. We also
provide support to fourteen volunteer fire
departments located throughout the county.
We
provide fire suppression, technical rescue, fire
prevention programs, EMS, Haz-Mat, and many other
emergency services to the residents and visitors
of Florence.
